UPDATE: 4/15/2015 -- Little Black Caddis are still showing up, especially on the North Carolina side and in the higher elevations, but overall look for the Hendricksons to produce the best fishing over the next couple of weeks. Little Yellow Stoneflies are showing up now as well as a variety of other bugs. Fishing is quite good now around the area. Warm water options are heating up and I'm offering 1/2 day trips in the Cookeville/Crossville area for anyone wanting to target bass, bluegill and shellcracker and trout all in one trip. This will only last a short time as the water will soon warm too much for the trout so get on this trip option in the next couple of weeks.

My trip home is nearing completion, but I can already declare it a success. The Smokies were visited, and I even caught some fish despite high, cold water. The last fish of the trip, the big one, escaped with minimal evidence beyond a couple of eye witnesses, so the makings of a great fish story are in place. Lots more on this trip will be coming in the next few days. In the meantime, I need to enjoy the last day here in Tennessee...
